There once was a girl who carried a rose
She would tie it with ribbons and bows
When people would ask her why
She would just smile and reply
"Because it reminds me of my love
I swear, he was sent from above"
And when the tears began streaming
In her pain, felt like screaming
She would clutch it to her chest
Smell it's wonderful scent
When she saw how the petals fell
